A blown glass sculpture inspired by the Baker Wetlands, on the south side of Lawrence, Kansas. In constant danger of development, these beautiful wetlands may not be around much longer. The sculpture features a river rock which sprouts two long cattails and surrounding marsh grass, bent in the wind. Under the rock opposite a submerged tree branch, rests a small sparkling fish with rising air bubbles. A sparkling blue frog, sunning on a lily pad, floats at the surface. Measures approx. 5 inches by 4 inches by 10 inches tall. Artist: Ben Kappen. Sorry, this item has been sold.
